Fitness Must Haves

I’ve been working hard at getting back in the gym lately, so I thought I would share some of my favorite fitness items!

  1. 90 Degree by Reflex – Hypertek Activewear Yoga Leggings // Amazon // $19.99
  2. Fitbit Charge 2 // Fitbit // $149.95
  3. Fitbit Aria Smart Scale // Fitbit // $129.95
  4.  Hidrate Spark Smart Water Bottle  // Hidrate Spark // $54.95
  5. Cute but Deadly Travel Bag // Blizzard Gear Store // $55.00

90 Degree by Reflex – Hypertek Activewear Yoga Leggings. I’ve done it. I’ve found the holy grail of workout pants.Lucky for you, they are also available on Amazon (and are PRIME!) and are an incredible steal at $19.99. I bought these on a whim one day while shopping at TJ MAXX and loved them so much that I went back to buy an extra pair for myself and my workout partner. These leggings are thick enough to pass the squat test, and are so versatile that I wear them as my daily wear leggings too. If you buy one item on this list, I recommend these the most. If you snatch up a pair, let me know how you like them down in the comments!

Fitbit Charge 2. I’ve been a Fitbit user for the last couple of years and tracking my food, exercises, and water intake on their Dashboard app has significantly improved my health and motivation. Sadly, over the holidays my old Fitbit Charge 1 died on me after 2 years of vigorous use, and now it’s time to upgraded. The new Charge 2 merges the original limited features of the Charge 1, like heart rate tracking and workout timers, with the extended features of the Surge, like phone alerts and  GPS tracking, to be a much improved product. They’ve also streamlined the design and now offer interchangeable accessory bands if you like to switch up your strap colors.

Fitbit Aria Smart Scale. If you decide to get a FitBit, there is no better match for it than the FitBit Aria. As I mentioned above, the Dashboard app is an amazing tool for tracking your movement, food, water intake, and weight. The FitBit Aria Scale automatically sends your weight data, including an estimated body fat percentage, to your Fitbit Dashboard, allowing you to track fluctuations with 0 work on your end. It’s also the prettiest scale I’ve found and feels like it belongs in the staterooms on the Enterprise.

Hidrate Spark Smart Water Bottle. I obviously like Fitness Tech and this is the only item on my recommendation list that I have yet to try out personally. Hydration is key to losing weight, and last year I found that drinking at least 32oz of water a day (but I aimed for 64) significantly increased my results. Alas, I am a busy lady and I often find myself struggling to remember to stay hydrated throughout the day. This nifty (and smart) water bottle will track your water intake, feeding results directly to your Fitbit Dashboard, and GLOWS AT YOU to remind you to drink water. Oh and it comes in teal, which is obviously my favorite color. When I hit my next fitness goal this is my reward to myself!

Cute but Deadly Travel Bag. I LOVE THIS BAG. And apparently everyone else does too, because it’s sadly sold out on the Blizzard Gear store right now. This Warcraft themed Cute but Deadly bag is so roomy and has lots of pockets to hold all of your gym essentials. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of this bag, and the fact that it’s made out of nylon means that it’s perfect for use as a gym bag. 🙂

Now get your butts to the gym!

Water bottles with infusers built in are great for people like me who hate the taste of water by itself. I always stuff mine with strawberries and lemons! ^_^!
